(Natural Society) McDonald’s has recently caved to consumer demands to cease the utilization of ‘pink slime’ scrap meat covered with ammonium hydroxide in their hamburgers and chicken sandwiches.
The announcement highlights the fact that there are many health-crushing additives within the McDonald’s menu, and the reason that their hamburgers absolutely wreak havoc on your body actually has little to do with their high calorie and fat content. In fact, McDonald’s absolutely loves when health professionals neglect to mention the toxic ingredients hidden in their food.
The change was mostly made possible by Jamie Oliver, a celebrity chef who has recently gone on a campaign against the fast food giant. After heavily publicizing the fact that McDonald’s was using the ‘pink slime’ treated with ammonium hydroxide, food activists began to take action. Oliver himself explains: “Basically, we’re taking a product that would be sold at the cheapest form for dogs and after this process we can give it to humans,” said the TV chef.
This is not the only known additive in McDonald’s food items that has sparked controversy. It was previously revealed that McDonald’s McNuggets contain a similarly-disturbing ingredient, helping to establish the reputation of worst food item on the planet. Dimethylpolysiloxane is used as an anti-foaming agent in the nuggets.

The quality of food in America is deplorable — Why? Because we have allowed chemical corporations to overtake the farm and production of it for profit and population control all under the name of feeding more people. Monsanto is THE biggest offender with their genetically modified crops that seed into non participating farms land….causing the non participating farmer to “be in violation” of Monsanto’s patent….as if any farmer could control wind and insect and bird transmission of their garbage!! They are sterilizing and killing us one mouthful at a time and we sit and do nothing. I believe this is what is causing the explosion of obesity, diabetes, cancer, autism, ADD and other diseases in our country. Try as they might the corn industry LIES when they try to tell you that high fructose corn syrup is the same as sugar and body does not know the difference. BS!! Then you have nutrasweet and splenda….UCCCCCKKK and now McDonalds slime. God help us. Shop your local farmers market and butchers.
This particular administration is the most complicit of any we’ve had to date as they have hired Monsanto CEO’s to work with them. WE MUST DEMAND A CHANGE!
Travel to any other country….Europe for instance which bans GE food and you can taste and see the difference immediately.
ABSOLUTELY!!! My friend is German and she absolutely HATES AMERICAN FOOD! She tells me all the time how much better the food is over there and brings me back different things. SHE’S RIGHT!!

Very litlte food is safe to eat. Since the demise of the private Farmer, because they would not stoop to the Governments regulation forcing them to “poison” their crops, your best bet is to find a farmer near you that grows foor for “Personal use”

thank you, i have for many years been against mcdonalds and its unhealthy menu and now it is being brought to the foreground it is a good thing and i hope other things will also be shown and people educated for their health. the environment is the key to everything no environment no human simple eh!!!!
